SHAPES OF ART: BioNike x Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze

On the occasion of World Art Day, BioNike presents the new edition of Shapes of Art, the project dedicated to supporting artistic talent, now in its second year and continuing its evolution by expanding both its scope and expressive languages.

For 2026, the initiative comes to life through a collaboration with the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, a historic institution and a key reference point in the Italian art scene, long committed to nurturing and promoting young talents.

BioNike’s support takes shape through the launch of the sculpture competition From Matter to Skin, open to all students enrolled in the Academy’s Sculpture course, alongside a donation aimed at improving educational spaces and equipment. This initiative reflects a concrete commitment to the collective growth of students, enhancing not only emerging talents but also the creative environment in which they develop.

At the heart of the project lies a clear vision: beauty is born from the meeting of science and creativity, giving life to the purest form of artistic expression. A concept deeply rooted in BioNike’s DNA, expressed through a continuous dialogue between scientific research and aesthetic sensitivity.

We believe that beauty is born when science and creativity meet, giving life to the purest expression of art. That is why we are proud to support the Shapes of Art project and to stand alongside the students of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze: through sculpture, matter becomes language and beauty takes shape, expressing identity, sensitivity and a contemporary vision.
