BioNike Renews Its Commitment to Scientific Research and Female Talent

In the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, BioNike renews for the third consecutive year its support for the Fondazione IEO-MONZINO ETS by joining the Partner for Research program.

Through this collaboration, BioNike will support throughout 2026 a research project led by the Microbiome and Antitumor Immunity Laboratory at the Istituto Europeo di Oncologia, coordinated by Dr. Luigi Nezi. The project focuses on studying the role of the gut microbiome in the response to immunotherapy in patients with melanoma.

BioNike’s contribution consists of funding a research fellowship for Dr. Arianna Zancuoghi, a young researcher involved in developing new therapeutic strategies, with the aim of understanding how the microbiome may influence the effectiveness of cancer treatments and pave the way for increasingly personalized therapies.

With this initiative, BioNike reaffirms its commitment to advancing medical-scientific research and supporting female talent, in line with the company’s mission to promote skin health and overall wellbeing.
